Whoo! Wow, five works reached the semifinals, one of them in two categories. Yay! This makes me feel better about the fact that my muses have been absent without leave so much lately. I doubt I'll do anything with the Voters Choice because there's no way that I can read the works in even one category, so I wouldn't be a fair voter.

The nominations close on Sunday, May 9 - so if you haven't gotten around to nominating your favorites yet, don't forget to do so! All 26 categores are open, but the organizers say that poetry, research articles, and works based on The Silmarillion and The Hobbit are especially desired.

What have I done today? Fandom stuff, I guess, mostly. Going overseas for 11 weeks means needing a temporary SM for HASA - luckily a couple of the other admins are able and willing to help out. Various list convo on that and related topics. Liz's installation as the new Welcome and Beta Manager is producing good things.
